Bhopal, Sept 15th On the occasion of Engineer’s Day, an event to celebrate the contribution and accomplishment of engineers, was organized by the Council of Consulting Civil Engineers(CCCE) in association with Bansal TMT Sariya, at Courtyard by Marriott, Bhopal.
The event also marked the remembrance of India's first civil engineer, and Bharat Ratna awardee, Honourable Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, who is credited with pioneering many engineering achievements.
Numerous eminent engineers and humanitarians from the city attended the event, including Er. Vikram Saxena (President, CCCE), Mr. Bharat Yadav (Commissioner, MP Housing and Infrastructure Development Board), Er. G.P. Katare (Chief Engineer, MPPWD), Mr. Ashish Mahendru (Business Head, Bansal News), and Er. Manoj Kochkar (Secretary, CCCE).
The organizing council also honoured two Senior Members of Civil Engineering, Er. P.C. Nigam, and Er. Anand Selot in recognition of their services and contribution to the growth of the state.
The event was organized to remember the contribution of M. Visvesvaraya to the society and to provide a platform to the engineers from the city who participated and gave a detailed overview of the projects and achievements, accomplished by them over the years that contributed to the progressive development of the city.
